from Newbury take the A4 towards reading, go through Thatcham and Woolhampton to next roundabout.
Turn right onto the A340 to Aldermaston.
Go through Aldermaston Village.
At the top of the village take the left fork into Church Road
Take the 2nd turning on the left rag Hill sign post to Padworth church one and a half miles.
